A few weeks ago we had some friends over. Avery and I made a chocolate cake?
Remember that? I am still dreaming about the chocolate cake.
Anyway, the evening was all about great food and little girls playing. Cori had just had her 4th birthday (such a big girl!) and it was a Princess Party! There were lots of left over princess crafts and Cori was gracious enough to share. The girls wasted no time decorating tiaras, castles and their own princesses!
Avery loves to play with big kids. She doesn't do so well at taking pictures with big kids.
After some crafts we decided to take the fun outside.
We had a little pool set up and a little mini splash pad.
Both were huge hits but I think the splash pad came out the clear winner.
The evening was a perfect combination of adult conversation and children play time. Avery loved playing with Cori and Batman and I so enjoyed catching up with Stephen and Tawni.
We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends!
All in all it was an evening filled with great food, great crafts and a great time in the water! It really doesn't get much better than that!
