Ellie Abigail 8 months

Little Miss Ellie Abigail,
You are 8 months old already! We can hardly believe how things have changed this month! You are getting so much more mobile and we are certain crawling is just around the corner.  Boy, things are going to change when you figure that out.  You are such a sweet little thing and you kill us (and everyone else) with that dimpley smile.  I can't believe you are really starting to be less of a baby and are really moving toward toddlerhood soon!

At 8 months you:

• are all over the board with your bottles. Most days you have 4-5 bottles that are between 4-6 ounces. 
• are up to 3 meals a day! Breakfast is cereal and fruit, lunch is cereal and yogurt and dinner is cereal and veggie.  Mommy makes your fruits and veggies and you love your yogurt.
• are getting so good at feeding yourself.  You love to put your puffs and melts in your mouth and have started getting a few finger foods like bread and even some noodles.

• still only have those 2 bottom teeth but we are convinced those top teeth are going to show themselves soon.
• are SO close to crawling.  You can get on your hands and knees and are so close to figuring out how to move forward.  You do rock back and forth.  Sometimes you get on your belly and turn around to get what you need.  You can move yourself backward.  You can also go from your belly to hands and knees and get back to a sitting position.  C'mon little miss!  We know you can do it!

• have a bedtime of 7:30 PM and are usually ready for the day at 6:30 AM.   
• Usually take 3 naps: 9 AM, around 12 and usually in the late afternoon around 4.  Naps are still about 45 min-1 hour but sometimes your surprise us with a long one.
• babble and talk ALL.THE.TIME.  I think you say dada and avey (avery) but daddy doesn't thing so. 
• can wave like no one's business.  You will even wave hello to people!  But usually you just smile.
• went on your first vacation to Dallas!  You were quite the trooper with the crazy schedule and even made a new friend Miss Addison Leigh. 
• are still so very curious.  You are always looking around taking it all in.

• still sleep with your bear lovey. 
• LOVE the dogs, Broozer and Bella.  You think they are so funny.
• still give Avery your best laughs.  You think she is the best big sister ever (we think so too).
• wearing 6-12 month clothes.  Your 6 month stuff is getting a little snug. 
• wear size 2 shoes, when you have shoes on.  You have mostly worn your barefoot sandals this summer.

We love you a million times over and love what a big girl you becoming!
