ABQ Trip Part 2 of many

Ronnie and I took over 500 hundred pictures in the ABQ.  After weeding out the really, really bad pictures, there were still over 400 left. I still need to go through them and weed out the really bad and bad pictures but it's hard.  Any picture with my child in it is perfect right? Right?!

I say all that to say this: it's hard to pare down 400 pictures of our vacation to 1 blog post.  So my dear, sweet 11 readers, you are just going to have to bear with me and read several posts about our vacation.

As I mentioned in an earlier post the girls did great on the road trip. Our first full day in the ABQ we decided to go to Sandia Peak

Have you met me?  Hi, I'm slightly afraid of heights.
I don't say really afraid because if I were really afraid i wouldn't have taken this tram, only supported by these teeny, tiny cables up to over 10,000 feet elevation.

It didn't seem to bother anyone else though.

The scenery on top of the peak was amazing.  I won't bore you with a bunch of landscape shots.  I know you love God's beauty as much as I do, but let's face it, those are the most fun pictures to look at.  I have to include a couple though.

Isn't it gorg?  I am constantly amazed at the scenery outside of Oklahoma!

Mr. R and our friend John decided to do a little exploring on the mountain trail.

It's best I didn't go exploring.  I see Ronnie's foot there on the side of the mountain...where are the hand rails, and harnesses and safety nets in case you fall?  Yeah, it's best I didn't join the boys on their adventure.

While we were on top of the mountain, a sweet couple offered to take a family picture for us.  Of course we didn't turn them down.
Those trees in the background are perfectly focused.  Luckily the nice man took several pictures and I guess figured out that little red light was the focus light.

Much better.

This picture may or may not make my hands sweat every time I look at it.

GET MY BABY AWAY FROM THE EDGE.

It was a great time and we all managed to survive.  No emergency mountain rescues needed.

So tell me, are you afraid of heights?  Does the thought of being 10,000 feet high make your hands sweat?  Someone tell me I'm not alone!

More adventures to come!

Good post, but I think your 11 viewers and anonymous viewers need to see some balloons.

I've been on that mountain, but no way I'm going up that gondola. Plus, we asked about it and someone said they thought it was broken. What does that mean?
